I bought this settee at a local antique fair 20 years ago to provide my daughters with a comfy spot at the kitchen table for doing homework. Its shape Eloisefrontispiecereminded me of the furnishings in Eloise‘s rooms at the Plaza Hotel and it has been a fun addition at the table. It needed some serious attention so I stripped it down to the frame to make some repairs (but forgot to take a picture) and then reupholstered it with a remnant I found at The Franklin Mill Store.
